Introducing Abel Sanchez Jr.: The Founder and Driving Force of WYNOT Fitness Eagle Pass
Behind WYNOT Fitness in Eagle Pass, Texas is a lifelong passion for movement, performance, and transformation led by founder Abel Sanchez Jr. Abel’s journey into fitness and coaching began at just 15 years old, when he organized and coached the first local elementary cheerleading and competitive all-star cheer team in Eagle Pass. Using innovative strength and conditioning workouts designed to build strong, functional athletes, his team went on to win UCA State Cheerleading titles four consecutive years, laying the foundation for the performance-based training philosophy that defines WYNOT Fitness today.
By 18, Abel was already shaping the local fitness culture as a step aerobics and body sculpt instructor at Eagle Pass’s first major gym, Executive Health Club. His dedication to movement and coaching led him to the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he continued developing his craft as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor at Bally Total Fitness.
Abel later pursued his dream as a professional dancer in New York City, where for over 11 years he trained and coached at premier fitness clubs including Crunch NYC and New York Sports Club, gaining national-level experience in strength training, cardio conditioning, and performance fitness.
After returning to Texas, Abel became a Group Fitness Master Instructor at 24 Hour Fitness in Austin, leading high-energy classes including cardio kickboxing, dance fitness, and strength-toning formats, while also earning his STOTT Pilates certification, further expanding his expertise in core stability and functional movement training.
Today, Abel brings decades of experience back to his hometown through WYNOT Fitness Transformers Tribe, part of the WYNOT WORLD WIDE ecosystem in Eagle Pass. His mission is simple: build stronger bodies, sharper minds, and resilient communities through science-backed fitness training designed for lifelong performance.
At WYNOT Fitness, Abel isn’t just building a gym—he’s building a movement for transformation in Eagle Pass and beyond.
